My interpretation of Death, in a Terry Pratchett style. The cloak is black felt soaked in epoxy resin and supports itself, giving a bodyless ethereal look. The scythe is made from epoxy putty with a wire frame and a suitable stick / twig. The pumpkins are habanero chile peppers, or similar, dried out. It can be underlit inside the cloak making the skull glow.
Hmmm, I reckon about 12 - 15 hours altogether. I support the cloth with a wire frame until the resin sets overnight, then take the frame out and it supports itself. The skull just pops in and is hand made out of epoxy putty (like milliput) The hourglass took longest, I ripped a cheap plastic one apart and made an ornate holder for the glass, but I couldn't get the paint as I liked it. Most other bits are pre manufactured adornments, old costume jewellery etc, and just needed sticking on. The tree is wire with self amalgamating tape wrapped around
really? wow, there is so much detail, how long did it take?
XD i stink at sculpting
